@redfl83 The metadata on your photo has all the details ... camera, iso, aperture, shutter speed ... all that jazz :) It just drags it all from there :)
I saw that this morning too! Then, I clicked on the link and was appalled at how much my husband's camera costs now...guess I need to be a little more careful with it, lol
ah! I see it now on my older pictures. Since I started a program to add my "signature" and compress them, that info is no longer with the picture that I actually upload. In my older posts it lists my Olympus.
This isn't really new - I always remember being able to see the number of views and favs on the photo, then if you clicked the "more details" link it provided literally all of the camera settings information.
@pfmandeville Some programs remove the info. I've edited one or two pics on Flauntr and those don't have any info on here. Also photos from a webcam and such
@bribuccigrossi I bet it sets a cookie so if you buy something from Amazon, money goes to this site. Some sort of affiliate thing. Most of the time when websites send you to b&h, ebay, amazon, etc, they have an affiliate program set up that gives them money anytime someone buys something from one of those sites. '
@pfmandeville The EXIF info has to be intact in the photo for the data to show up. A lot of programs strip the EXIF when you save it, including photoshop if you do "save for web." Also, if you're like me and shoot with a film camera for some things, it won't give camera info obviously.
I've always listed the equipment I use in the photo description, so this just redundant on my page. I find it funny people on Amazon are selling a D80 for $1900, though... I paid $400 for mine!
Maybe I should post a fill-shot from a shoot I did with an H3D, just to make people think I'm a rockstar photog! :D I know Ross would be rapt if people followed *that* link and bought one on Amazon!
It speciffies the camera you are using,next to the photo.
butnotreally
@rossco088 Yeah, I know :) but it wasn't a clicky before :D
@arlyah365 :D

That is kind of how I feel!!
