So I'm sure we all have that one photo that we think is great, but doesn't seem to be getting people's attention - I know I do. I figured this would be a good way for people to showcase it, so lets see that photo you love - but isn't getting love from others.

Great photos everyone, and thanks for the compliments I received on mine. I think that it's common that a shot can get missed in the hustle and bustle that is the home page, so it's sort of fun to get a second chance with it.
@amz87 it is good amy, very 'little house on the prairie' :) i can almost "feel" the heat of the day looking at it, how funny is that if it was actually a cold day haha
'The End of the Fair'
This got 74 viewings and just one comment, for which I want to thank Clarissa!! It was taken from a very bad angle but the only one I could take it from! I kind of feel that way about all of my photos. I like them all, so that is all that really matters to me. But I really liked this photo and you can't get the whole feel of the photo looking at a thumbnail.
this is my "under appreciated" choice ... sure it didn't turn out quite as amazing as i'd hoped, but i almost exclusively wear purple eye make up and this was a no-brainer for me :)) ANNDDD the photo was quite difficult to do, having only a smallish P&S camera with a push button macro setting, and having to get so close anyways, i had to block "filter" the flash with my finger as it was SO bright and ruining the photo. anyhoo, it looks a bit boring, but it was one of the hardest shots i've done hehehe and people just don't realise that unless they open it and read the story, which a lot don't :)
@christinah1979 hahaha thats a pretty cool idea, but would get fiddly too hehe .... its funny, putting a finger over the flash on a P&S camera can create a really cool redness to the photo, my kids do it all the time ;))
@taidster Or sometimes it creates a shadow and you can tell people that you think the place you were at was haunted because of the weird shadow...lol. My kids help me a lot with things like holding flashlights. I think they are learning a lot from just helping me. I think I might have to start calling my oldest my "creative director" because he helps me brainstorm a lot when I am having trouble coming up with an idea...lol
Sometimes I feel it is a shame that photos in other albums (if you have them) get missed. I put this one as an extra as I had never done a colour splash and wanted to try it out. I loved this photo - 27 views and 3 comments (not including my own)
We all have them and it's just part of chasing a photo a day. It is really hard to hit a home run every single day and is why I just try to have fun and not worry about it.

taken yesterday but not many people seemed to take much notice of it :-( i thought it was a realy good picture (sorry if i do say so myself!)
I hate the way my flash looks on almost all photos, so I have started using a little flashlight when some extra light is needed.
This one I used a flashlight because the flash pretty much just whited it all out.
