what a good lens for the Nikon D3000 for like far away objects but you can zoom up really close to get good detail....if u have any can u give me the name? thanks ~Irina247
Well I can only tell you that it would really depend on how much you want to spend. For 2,000 you can get a real nice 70-200mm f2.8 which was really good, but not going to get you really close. To get really close you would need at least a 300mm, this is just my opinion. I guess it would really depend on what/where you are shooting and how much you want to devote to it.
My next suggestion would be to try a place like lensrentals.com and rent before you buy to make sure that the lens does what you expect it to. They are reasonable in pricing and have a wide variety to choose from.
That said, I'm a Canon shooter currently.
