Just wanted to offer a free texture I created tonight, for anyone who likes collecting and using those kinds of things. Just a warning for those with slow interwebs - it is a 10MB download. I've hosted it on Flickr. Here's the link to the fullsize version:
@lovesscrapn it sure does. It's the same as saving a photo then going into photoshop and layering it how you please. To save the photo, it's just command click...
@lovesscrapn Certainly will, Lisa! :) It is software dependant, so Photoshop or similar will be the best thing to use, but OS makes no difference.
Someone asked how to do it with Aperture, if I recall? Maybe it was on my photo, but I'll post the answer here as well - there is a plugin available via the Aperture homepage at Apple, called Edit Surfaces 2.15 - the description says that you can use premade textures, or your own picture files. I don't know how it does it, or how well, but by the description it is probably something worth trying. It is about a 60MB download.
@bruni No, just copy the link into your browser address bar, or go over to my photo and follow the clickable link from there. If you still can't get it to work let me know and I'll post it on my own server's share folder and give you a new link. :)
@barrymikhal Nice one again! So vastly different to the other. It took me a minute to work out what I was looking at, and every now and then I'm still not so sure! Love the black and white. Thank you for posting it here. :)
