ok... so i have a question.
does anyone else have the problem of feeling limited by taking pictures in the daylight? if htat makes sense. i feel like my pics olnly come out good when they're taken outside - cuz of lighting. but sometimes i don't want an outdoors background. so i'm wandering what ya'll do for a good light scource for indoor pics. and i hate flashes most the time so that's out (:
haha HELP!!!
just experiment. i try out all different flashlights, bulbs, etc when I'm feeling creative and setting up a shot. Here is a site with some GREAT tips on making your own lighting and everything else (some expensive, some with stuff around the house):
I feel that way too sometimes! If you have windows in your house that let in a lot of light, try taking pictures near there. That way you'll still have the natural light, but it's inside...
I use a task light that is move able on an extended arm and a desk lamp with a move able neck. Just regular indoor light bulbs sometimes I compensate for the color and sometimes I just go with it.
@refriedradio good idea (: the ONLY prob is that i'm still limited by daylight (: but i like it (: @omabluebird i like the reg lightbulb idea! @v_key hmmm (: i'll try expirementing (: thanks @sarethephotos very true. longer exposure sounds good, too (: @hednod torches are an intresting idea O.o muwaha (:
Around the house I use mostly my 50mm f/1.8 lens and whatever light is available. I can get away with most shots hand held like that. Not always the lighting sometimes, but the type of lens you're using.
