Someone correct me if Im wrong, but I've been noticing posts from members advertising either a service or a Photographer. These members have 0 photos posted under their profile but somehow manage to answer posts for services.
Maybe I'm wrong and the two individuals I'm thinking of just haven't gotten around to posting photos.
I have seen a few too mate. Have had a few comments on my photos and they have no pics up either. Not sure what it is all about but I hope no spamming.
@debmayne - yeah, just check the latest topics. There have been a few there as well. I guess its a matter of time before someone does that sort of thing.
I don't think messaging those "users" will help. Those messages are almost certainly automatic ie computer generated, not actively written by a person (well, beyond typing the original message from where it's sent out).
@debmayne - That is part of the site that is great. The other part is the sense of community.
@karice - Yeah, but in a way its unfair to ask him to have to be vigilant over that type of thing. it should really be self policed. I noticed someone asked one of the spammers directly if they were promoting their own stuff (might have been you?).
Yes I jave seen @pro4oto's discussions and I enjoy them to be honest. He sends out lots of links with great images.
But, I am aware that the site isn't for advertising and if he wants to do so he should either a) Start using the site for its orginal purpose or b) Advertise elsewhere.
