as your daily photo? im stuck :( i have a selfie i really enjoy and i also have an accidental shot which i love.. idk which one to upload! how do you guys decide?
If it's two shots i really like i upload one and save the other for a day when i might not be able to take anything new. Or if i'm just being lazy :) If you're trying to not do that, you could always use the selfie as a profile pic, and then upload the accidental one?
@houdiniem@craigdtull both those ideas are good i mean the profile pic craig, cause im not as lazy as you ;) i might see how they look on my computer... problem is when i was going through them i found another selfie i liked haha. such complication.. i may even process them and see which one i like best after that idk.. though about upgrading to ace but i hae to pay bills this month so thats not going to happen!
@pfmandeville i want to but i have bills to pay i may talk my boyfriend into taking an extra bill this month to let me get ace but who knows how that will turn out haha
@craigdtull haha he ate his heart shaped one now he has to eat his gigantic regular cookie shape that he likes to call a breast shaped cookie soo... if i go along with the boob cookie thing he will most likely let me... and since that wont be until late tonight i have to think of one to upload soon because thats how impatient i am.. and i happen to like them all on my computer.
Yes,most of the time,I`m like that.Actually,after narrowing down to 4 photos of the 20+ taken today (meaning,I deleted the rest),I`m left with four,wich I edited,maybe over edited too much (they came out pretty bad anyways), and I just chosed one.
Sometimes when I have more photos I like,my "easy way out" is to make a collage of them. But I try to resist the urge of making collages,because I`m allmost never satisfied with the result.
...I`m just about to upload todays photo,but first I need to find the right "soundtrack" for it. And sometimes,just browsing through all my music to chose one song takes more then an hour...
@spaceman ahhh yes, its so hard to find the right music too... im always listening to pandora so my music always changes and i like pandora better than my ipod cause they introduce me to more music and its cheaper by far :) ive made a collage twice now and one was yesterday so thats out!

If I have a bunch that I like, I pick one (sooc) and then decide I will edit and use that. I then post the link to the others (which are sometimes better) on Flickr :)
I recently added two extra albums for those days, as an "ace" member. Before I added these though I just... picked one! :p Sorry that doesn't help much...
This isn't going to be of much help, but I usually do like The Steve and just pick one. Occasionally I will ask the opinion of my boyfriend. If they are similar in subject I may do a collage in picnik. Otherwise yeah, I just pick one and the others get posted to my website.
Sometimes I ask a friend. Otherwise I just force myself to choose, and usually upload the rejected one somewhere where I can still share it with people, like facebook.
I avoid selfies or your 365 can become 300 photos of you... some people like that sort of thing... I cannot be responsible for breaking that many monitors with my ugly mug :)

- which one BEST describes my day or the most important part of my day
- which one means more to me
If I still have a bunch to choose ftom after this (eg shots of my cats or studio work) then I cycle through them and rate them in ligtroom and find my favourite handful. Then I bring up the first image, close my eyes then open them and look at the image. Go to the next one and repeat. Whichever makes the better first impression is the one I choose :)
i have a "365 Rejects" folder on my facebook page. generally i only have one pic to use on here, but there are days (like thursday of this week) where i get 9 or 10 really good pictures, sometimes they're actually different pictures of things, sometimes different shots of the same thing that just look differently or are edited differently. i upload to that folder so it still feels like an accomplishment. i had so many that i had to start a 2nd "rejects" folder. i link my 365 page every 30 days incase anyone of my fb friends wants to see them. at one point before i hit 30 pictures one of my fb friends said "if those are the rejects, i'm really interested to see what you picked!" so it's not as hard for me to pick now!
If its between something that I'm not going to get another opportunity to shoot or something I could shoot again...I pick the one I can't do over. Its not the best shot of the day usually. Its about a story of a year and I want those fleeting moments or moments to build on.
