Just wondering what you do with the images you take for your daily picture and then decide you won't use. Sometimes I have quite a few that for one reason or another miss the mark. Do you save them or delete them?
I put them onto my blog http://365-adayinthelife.blogspot.com or another website I use. Those I don't display I leave as you never know whether they will come in handy or not.
I delete nothing. never know if you may find a purpose for it down the road. I have 2 separate 500 gb hard drives. One for some stuff the other for my photog hobby. I also store the "keepers" on SmugMug for an external archive.
I delete everything I don't use, but I save the one I post and any that I might use later (i.e, I have a tree that I am going to follow through the seasons). Generally, if I've picked the best one for posting the rest are junk and it becomes too overwhelming to keep track of them! :-)
(BTW, this is the only arena I can think of that I'm not displaying packrat tendencies!)
I keep everything!
I don't trust the auto settings on my camera so I put it in manual mode and take a picture for every exposure my camera lets me between 1/4000 of a second all the way up to a second. And that's a lot of photos.
So on average I take maybe 120 photos a day. I'm going to need a bigger hard drive.
I'll often put extra pictures on my flickr.
I'm running my 365 project on my flickr as well as on here, but on flickr.com you can add other photos, too :]
I keep everything, good or bad. My other half is an IT geek so we have a server set up at home. I have no idea how much space is on it but I haven't filled it yet ;-) It's set up with RAID so even if a hard drive crashes we won't lose the data.
Any extra photos I consider worthy go on my website ( http://www.wix.com/FillingTime/byLisa). I currently have a bit of a backlog to go through. Hopefully I'll get quite a few done this coming weekend (a Long Weekend here in West Aust).
If I don't immediately delete the "bad" pictures off my camera, I do a sort on them once they're uploaded and the bad ones get deleted. The rest are kept unless I absolutely can't do anything to make them look decent. So far, I've just had my husband save my pictures to a disc periodically, so we at least have a back-up in case our computer crashes. :(
Yes and no. I mean, I'm shooting for other things too, not just this project, so I'm contantly saving a lot of photos every day. However, I do delete photos that I just don't like or turned out blurry or overexposed or whatever. A lot of my stuff I put on Flickr too, over and above what I put on here.

I keep mine! But with the amount of pictures Ive been taking lately, I dont think my computer is going to cope!
I need to transfer them all onto disk (or start deleting!) :o)
I went to your blog and found all your photos to be works of art!

If I didn't I'd have to have about 20 EHD's lol....I normally take about 20-30 shots a day!
