Accidentally I dropped my cam on the floor :(:(
I was uploading my picture and so sudden pang the cam fell down and it's broken.. I didnot dare to see the camera and DH has taken the cam to the store .. DH said lucky that we have insurance ...
So I will be not posting my 365project for a while until the cam is back :(
Or maybe I can buy a pocket one for a while..

I've had that pit-in-the-stomach event happen to me, too, so I can empathize! Maybe a small camera would give you something to use in an emergency, and then you'll find you enjoy carrying it with you...sort of a little insurance policy...
Yikes! I dropped my little point and shoot onto the concrete a few weeks ago and, like Sarah, almost had a heart attack. Luckily, it only gave the camera some character...a dented corner, scratched back, and a bit of bad-ass attitude. :-)

you could even do just a cheap standard one time use disposable film camera, and then when you have it processed, you could have them skip prints (unless you want them) and just have the negatives digitally put on to a cd. i know places like wal mart do that :)
I vote for getting a pocket one in the meantime. I recently bought a a little Panasonic Lumix camera & I have been very pleased with it. Easier to carry around for sure!
oh that's sad. My camera and lenses were stolen before Christmas and I didn't get them back until late January. So I bought a little point and shoot that I carry everywhere in my handbag now.
Maybe you could buy yourself something small to keep you going until your camera is repaired. Or see what your mobile phone is capable of?
What is the latest Edeline....hey I did see the Canon you liked...£899 over here....18 megapixels...is that the one? I am going to stick with a D90.....and I will think of you every time I use it. :(
