I've been sizing my images at 600 px on the long end. I have a feeling that maybe I can go bigger but not sure. I can't seem to find that info on the site.. anyone know the max height/width allowed?
Gosh I just simply load mine and I think the site resizes them for me. I've never had a message saying they're too large and here and there some have been as large as 4mb!
i generally keep mine a multiple of either 1024x768 or 1152 x 768
only reason because they were the defaults that come with point and shoot cameras and my DSLR :)
That said i have two folders.. one with the maximum resolution possible within the above multiples and one which i've cut down for upload.
It would be interesting to know what the usual dimensions are when printing a photo? The way I see things, I may want to print these out - either as is or as a "365 book of 2010" so i figure we may as well keep the ratios and full resolution.
550x550 is as big as they will show unless you have an Ace membership.
@ Kristen, DPI is really only for print. 2000px is 2000px when talking about electronic files. DPI only affects print size not file size. Hope that makes sense.

Maybe that's the magic number?
