Does anyone know were I can have a photo book printed with 11 x 14 images or larger? All the ones I find are rather small and I'm looking to do a pretty large book.
Any suggestions would be great. Thank you !
How big are you wanting, that might be helpful information. Because I know of a few places that do 12X12, although that is not much larger than you were already thinking.
I've used http://www.photobookworldwide.com/ and am extremely happy with the quality. Good luck with finding one. Your photobook sounds like it will be very interesting. :-)
I've printed four or so books with Blurb now, the print quality is always ace and they have various sizes and you can sell them to friends and family, the software is very nice to use.

@melmellow@shutterbunny - I would prefer black too but on the photobookworldwide.com web site they appear to be white - just wanted to know from someone who has used that company.
myphotoalbum.com - I had a book made of my black and white NYC pictures, and one for my grandmother of pictures of her and my grandfather after he died. If you have enough pixels, they're perfectly clear and come out great, both have been great coffee table books. (For the record, I do photo restoration - I did a lot of pictures of my grandfather that were taken in the 30s and 40s - and they came out great in the book.) very recommended. :)
@chewyteeth Hi Dave, I'm working on a photobook using Blurb and am interested in ideas you may have on design. Do's and Dont's? Include thumbnails of each month? Not all photos are great, so do I do a "best of"? It has been a bit overwhelming! Thanks :)
yeah I used a company in the UK to print the best 100 pics of my first 8 months or so, but since then (mid 2011) I haven't printed anything. I became very critical, and although I've loved some of my pics, 6 months later I don't like the same ones. But I've used Lulu since to publish some work (lulu is an amazon company but its a bit tougher to use) My advice would be pick out your best 20, or 40 or however many you want to publish. Print them or print a contact sheet of them at least and put it in a drawer for a week or two. Then get them out and look again and pick the best 25 out of 40, or best 15 out of 25 or whatever. Then just pick the book size you can afford on blurb and start creating. as long as they're all saved in your pictures folder they will drag and drop easily into the blurb software. you might have to make decisions on landscape photos, and how they are shown. Make sure it has longevity and you love those pictures. And whatever you do don't buy a DSLR because in that case people tend to disregard everything they took before they got one!

@amorton1437 Ideally I'd love to do one as big as 16 x 20 . But 11 x 14 would be the smallest I want to do
I have 100 Cupcake Photos and 100 Martinis I'd love to have large books for.
