Congratulations! These are great photos. All of the photos show the viewer "a mood". I especially like the top one because of the slight blurring/fade out of the tree branches framing the lamp post. This makes a fog like image and also a vintage looking one.

@eholle If you click on those in recently popular, like the 'suggested' pics, they can be pretty random. There are some that have had high favs, comments and views and there are those with no favs, ten comments and 20 views, so it is hard to work out what formula (if any) is applied but whatever, the process is intended to be fair to all, accept we can't know how it's done or peeps would start adapting their pics accordingly! It's definitely nice to get their and have the acknowledgement but it isn't the be all and end all.

@nikkers I'm an ace and have never been notified but it would be a good idea if all were notified of being on the PP.

I would love to know the all time favourite pics that got the most favs, comments and views!

My pictures that made it to the ‘Recently Popular’ page are not among my top pictures, which is always interesting and so it comes as a surprise. I have also noticed that there is a very high proportion of animal pics on the popular page, but I could be wrong. Anyway, in order of my five most favourite according to the number of favs, comments and views (given in brackets) are as follows:
