And if you make prints, who do you use and why?

I did not want to hijack the previous discussion thread, so here's mine - if you are making prints for sale, and are not printing them yourself, who do you use and why? I really appreciate any input you might have!

Well, I don't print for sale, but I have had some really good results from Snapfish and also from Jessops. The last couple I did from Snapfish didn't print out right, but I wrote and returned them and replacements are on the way, so you can't fault the service. I've printed loads from them anyway, for various things and never had a problem before.

I've used mpix for multiple prints that I've sold. They have great prices for their products and it doesn't cost anything to sign up on their site. They do a wide range of different kinds of prints too, including matting. And the site is very user friendly! Definitely my favorite place to go if I need to order prints.

I've never used them myself but I've heard very good things about MPix.

Photobox are also pretty good... you can print all kinds of things with them - I love their photobooks, brilliant way to make a memory book for holiday pics or special occasions.

I use Photobox too. Prints are aways great quality. Also have a photobook in which i used a photo of an old photo and there is no difference really. Had a mug from them too. Thoroughly recommend them!

I've been printing from my Smugmug account - they use two different labs depending on if you have a regular or professional account (I think it also depends on the size of print). I've been very happy with them.

I am so new to digital photography. I am still trying to figure this out. I have printed out a few photos. I usually use my ink jet printer, but do use my photo printer, when I am not so lazy. I do plan to take four in soon to print and frame for birthday gifts for two people. I do not know where I will go to have these printed. Our local Wal-Mart does a good job. Walgreens Pharmacy also prints. I am wondering if one of the print shops or office supply stores in my town do this. I will come back to this discussion and the old one to see what people are doing.

I've used mpix and miller's. I've been very satisfied with both.

MPIX!!! Love their service, quality and speed! I order all of my prints there, and sometimes they are on my front porch the next day. Great prices, just about as good as WalMart, with professional quality. If you have never tried their metallic paper, it is a must!
