Hi all!
I do here my project completely on my iPhone that I use both for shooting and editing. I use free iPhone app "Instagram" and sometimes "Hipstamatic" (paid app).
Browsing this site I can see here a lot of other phone camera lovers that make outstanding shots on their phones.
So lets share great shots done with phone cameras - no matter yours or other 365project members.
I believe that this will help a lot of people that have cameras in their phones to find some inspiration and new knowledge and start use their phone cameras more often.
I used my iPhone 4 regularly throughout my 1st year of 365 and plan to dedicate my 365 album to my iPhone exclusively for my 2nd year. Here are some of my most popular shots. I use Hipstamatic regularly and also love Iris, PictureShow, Swankolab and Percolator:
I think @bradsworld takes fantastic iphone shots, check his project out.
I've only just started taking photos with my iphone, here are a few of mine I quite liked
All of my shots are on my blackberry.. and I don't have any editing software or apps.. I just email them straight from my phone to the website, so everything on my project is SOOC. These are the ones I am particularly proud of:
(it isn't the camera that is blurry.. it was a really, really grey day, and I think it was raining a bit further up the coast.)
These are great but why can I only upload one pic a day and have to verify the date? I am a day ahead becuz I did two photos same day bcuz they sort of went with a theme? I must be missing something here. I like this concept but am so new I dont know what to do...thank you. Photos are wonderful
@warmbreeze43 Unfortunately you are only allowed to post one picture each day. Unless you have an ace membership, then you get 3 albums so you could post 3 pics a day.
I'm only using my hand-me-down iPhone 3G for this project, shooting with the phone's camera, then processing images through the apps PictureShow or Tilt Shift Generator or both.
I'm trying not to judge the images too much, but it's very difficult for me, with the iPhone, to imitate the manner of control I can have with my Canon DSLR, especially (not) controlling focus.
But that's all part of my project: creative exorcism through iPhone! Let the images happen, don't judge, push on.
Just started using my iphone a little for photos...downloaded the Hipstamatic app, which I love. Gonna check out the other ones that have been mentioned as well tho!
I am doing my entrie project with my iphone simply because I always have it on me. Like others I use hipstamatic, it is fun and a little 'hit and miss' so I always get fun odd shots. I also got the idarkroom app which allows me to edit on my phone which is handy. Well done with all your pics guys, they are really beautiful!
My whole reason for doing this project is just to snap a pic of something I see each day, so I use my camera phone (KIN) and don't do any editing. Some of my pictures aren't very good, at least technically, but I'm more interested in the subject matter anyway. That being said, I do have one or two that I think actually came out quite well as "photographs" (as opposed to "pics"). I like this one in particular:
There must be something I don't know/understand about the Hipstamatic app, because it doesn't work for me in the least! I think the photos others take with it are absolutely marvelous - but for me, it just makes a mess : )
This actually isn't a great photo, I have loads better. I love it though as it shows my daughter on a ride in focus where everything else is blurred. This was taken in November 2008 too so an oldie and not good at photography at all back then (not that I'm saying I'm good at it now, lol). The boy is nothing to do with me, lol
@jesase Hipstamatic is a very fun app. In most cases it makes unexpected but cool shots. If you want some exact results from it you should learn how different lenses-flashes-films affect your result. Besides it's possible to go to iPhone settings->hipstamatic->Viewfinder Mode and change it from Classic (where you see only very small part of final image) to Precision Framing.
If you want to have just some fun you can use Classic viewfinder mode and shake your iphone to randomize lenses-flashes-films settings before taking photo. Hope this helps.
Thanks, @mikhasus, for the tips about Hipstamatic that I did not know about! I will give it another try, in the name of trying to further surrender control of my images : ) I appreciate your time and help - and your great photos!

And lastly, my favourite:
i love the way this photo turned out
this came out pretty cool too - a happy accident for sure
I forget which app I ran this thru but I love the way it turned out

These are actually all in my favorite photos that I took during the year. It's amazing what phones can do.
