Warning I am a copy cat

February 18th, 2011
Well not really but I have been in a funk this week with the crappy weather outside so I have decided to try my hand at some of the shots it seems everyone does. Sorry to my followers if you are tired of seeing these type of things.
I mean things like the heart in a book

or water drops

And since that water drop was just a catch while I was doing something else I will probably try that again.
Anyway I understand if you don't comment because it is the same old stuff. I just wanted to try my hand at it.

I do the same thing sometimes when I'm uninspired. Other people's photos are great for admiring and they give me new ideas to try. I think that is what's so great about 365, the supportive community and all their inspiring photos!

I think it's okay to use another photo as inspiration! It's not like you are outright 'copying' them. I like your variation of the heart in the book.

absolutely NOTHING wrong with getting inspiration from other users, because you still make it your own :)

If I have anything worth copying, go for it. I'm here to share! :-)

There's nothing wrong with that. I get inspiration from others. That's one of the reasons I joined this site. That's how we get more creative. :)

I think we all use other photos to inspire us to try more things.

@carrieoakey I agree Carrie. I love looking through all of the photos by such creative people. Ideas can come from others. I think that is what this site is all about.

I like you're Heart's in the book!

It's called getting inspiration! I do it all the time. It's ok, as long as you give it your own mark (turn, swirl).

I think it's also a way to learn different techniques or how to get different shots. And you know what they say "Imitation Is The Best Form Of Flattery".
