i see quite a marked difference, the picture on here is very muted compared to on flikr, i think i prefer this version though, not sure what would cause it
I don't know if it's the browsers we're using or the monitors. But on mine I really see no difference at all. And this is something I usually would notice. Hopefully it gets worked out soon though.
I see a huge difference, and I'm on a Mac. The Flickr version is much warmer, with more red and orange tones. The photo here is muted and significantly more green.
@annikaz I just checked with a coule of browsers - I don't see any differences b/t the two sites. I am using a MAc book Pro with a 15 inch screen. I know that different monitors with display differently, depending on what information it is receiving from the site via a browser. Did you try Internet Explorer, vs. Chrome vs. Firefox?
I also see a lot of difference! I use a laptop with firefox... I opend it in Explorer and the colours on Flickr are worsend, almost the same as on this site... This is really strange! So the colours on Flickr improve when using Firefox!
I am on a macbook, and I definitely see the difference. Both photos look great in their own rights, but I do enjoy the warmer more saturated tones in the flickr version.
I think it's really strange that some people aren't seening a difference, while other people are. I personally do see a dramatic difference - the one here is more yellow, while the on on flickr is more orange/red and warmer.
I cant see too much difference but I think that is just my monitor settings.
But i know my browser is good and i have done color test.
Firefox 4.0 beta 11: Different
Safari 5.0.3: Different
Chrome 9.0.597.102: Same (both are the less warm version)
Could it be a colorspace thing?
But still sad that this site change colors :(
Hope it will go better.
Thanks for everyone!
