Oh wow! You DID lose a lot of color! I've has some photos that lost their luster, but nothing like this. Interesting. Wish I had answers for you.

Hello Annika,
I cant see too much difference but I think that is just my monitor settings.
February 25th, 2011
i dont see any difference?
February 25th, 2011
That does seem pretty dramatic between the sites. Hmmm.
February 25th, 2011
Just like @judifff and @genesislomax said.. I dont see a difference..
February 25th, 2011
I also don't see a difference. It is pretty.
February 25th, 2011
Oh wow - this has been mentioned a lot here but I never noticed it until this shot. It's dramatically brighter on Flickr.
February 25th, 2011
I see big difference. Lost lot of colors.
February 25th, 2011
i see quite a marked difference, the picture on here is very muted compared to on flikr, i think i prefer this version though, not sure what would cause it
February 25th, 2011
I saw and my other photos have lost little sharpness. but this one have lost LOT colors
February 25th, 2011
I don't know if it's the browsers we're using or the monitors. But on mine I really see no difference at all. And this is something I usually would notice. Hopefully it gets worked out soon though.
February 25th, 2011
@kaylaferguson @genesislomax @judifff are you guys on PCs or Macs?
February 25th, 2011
I'll add: I too see a huge difference, and I'm a PC
February 25th, 2011
@eyebrows Im on a pc..
February 25th, 2011
I see a huge difference, and I'm on a Mac. The Flickr version is much warmer, with more red and orange tones. The photo here is muted and significantly more green.
February 25th, 2011
i'm on a netbook
February 25th, 2011
@kaylaferguson hrm, what browser are you using?
February 25th, 2011
im on a PC.
February 25th, 2011
I see no difference at all and I'm on a PC using IE8. Very pretty!
February 25th, 2011
@eyebrows am on PC, using windows 7 ultimate
February 25th, 2011
@annikaz I just checked with a coule of browsers - I don't see any differences b/t the two sites. I am using a MAc book Pro with a 15 inch screen. I know that different monitors with display differently, depending on what information it is receiving from the site via a browser. Did you try Internet Explorer, vs. Chrome vs. Firefox?
February 25th, 2011
I using firefox.
But i know my browser is good and i have done color test.
February 25th, 2011
I'm using Firefox, if that helps.
February 25th, 2011
also on firefox
February 25th, 2011
I don't see any difference with them side by side ... not sure what is the problem...
February 25th, 2011
Okay, I just opened firefox and checked and there is definitely a lot of color loss on firefox.
February 25th, 2011
wow, I see a huge difference. I noticed that with my shot today too.
February 25th, 2011
I also see a lot of difference! I use a laptop with firefox... I opend it in Explorer and the colours on Flickr are worsend, almost the same as on this site... This is really strange! So the colours on Flickr improve when using Firefox!
February 25th, 2011
No difference here - on a PC with IE8
February 25th, 2011
No difference here either :-S great shot...
February 25th, 2011
I am on a macbook, and I definitely see the difference. Both photos look great in their own rights, but I do enjoy the warmer more saturated tones in the flickr version.
February 25th, 2011
Windows Vista and Chrome and I can barely see a difference.
February 26th, 2011
PC and Firefox and I can definitely see a difference. The Flickr version is much warmer with more oranges
February 26th, 2011
I think it's really strange that some people aren't seening a difference, while other people are. I personally do see a dramatic difference - the one here is more yellow, while the on on flickr is more orange/red and warmer.
February 26th, 2011
I'm on a macbook pro using safari and the difference is remarkable....the flickr version is much more vibrant. beautiful photo.
February 26th, 2011
On an MBP (OS X 10.6.6) here are my results

Firefox 4.0 beta 11: Different
Safari 5.0.3: Different
Chrome 9.0.597.102: Same (both are the less warm version)

Could it be a colorspace thing?
February 26th, 2011
i use firefox..and now opend with explorer and with this..no difference.
But still sad that this site change colors :(
Hope it will go better.

Thanks for everyone!
