Which software of retouch use you?
What are your main retouch?
I I tried PS but I have many difficulties, I do not understand everything. Furthermore by seeing your photos, there are lots of things which I would like to make but I do not know how. (Distortion, just a color with the black and the white)
Otherwise I use in simple version photofiltre with the regulations of contrast, saturation and gamma but i don't know if is good.
And you?
Have you tricks ans tips for me?
Thank you
NB : Sorry for my English which is poor. I don't speak English well and use a site of translation to speak with you.
I exclusively use Lightroom 3 which I love it's relatively simple at the beginning to produce great shots, and certainly has more than enough to produce some outstanding work
I use Gimp. It's free and can be used on both Mac and PC. It is similar to Photoshop, and there are many tutorials online to help you. Once you get the hang of it, it is very useful and fun! You can download it at www.gimp.org
If you already have Photoshop, it would be a shame for it to go to waste. Get a monthly subscription to www.lynda.com and watch as many tutorials you can for as long as you want to subscribe. The videos are VERY easy to follow and I've learned a TON in just a few weeks. You can pick and choose which post process you want to learn about and rewatch as many times as you want. :)
I'm hooked!
For simplistic work, I use Tiffen DFX. It has excellent presets, and you can tweak from there. 99 bucks. No tutorials, magazine subscriptions, or classes to understand it. Photoshop is used by me for just a few things. It takes a lot to understand it.
i use Digital Photo Professional. It has a really simple interface but allows your to add so much to your pictures. It's a free software from canon made esspecially for proccessing RAW images taken with canons.
I will go with Lightroom most of the time. It is a lot easier to use than PS. The results you get with Lightroom is pretty amazing even if you haven't spent much time learning to use it.
