I just wanted to give a shout out to these ladies who've all created some wonderful shots with simple point and shoot cameras and would love to see what others have managed to do :o)
@tori 3012 Always manages to be so elegant with her shots. Here's one of her beautiful shots
@flamez You should absolutely mention him Rachel. He obviously has his Mother's eye for being creative, plus a very good teacher. I'm trying to persuade my son to start 365 so maybe he'll be on here soon xx
@psychographer ~ thankyou :) im amazed he managed water so well with his P&S hes really enjoying it too :) if your son starts b sure to let us know and me and marcus will follow him :)
@mizikei They are amazing Katherine. Wonderful photos and although I have serious camera envy we can all see how possible it is to get some great shots without having a DSLR x
@flamez I will :o) He's 14 and I bought him a camera for Christmas (mine's 4 years ols now and I think his is better than mine!) I've told him there are other youngsters on here so fingers crossed he'll give it a go xx
Big up the point and shoot massiv! I too have camera envy along with a distinct lack of disposable income, but I have been quite happy with how some of my P&S shots have come out. I've got a Canon Powershot A3100 which is so cheap and rubbish it feels like a disposable camera! Here are a couple of my favourites:
@psychographer go team! I see you have a Canon Ixus 75. Aaah I had one of those and I loved it so much! Unfortunately it was stolen from my bag in London and I couldn't afford to replace it like for like :( You've taken some beautiful shots with it :)
@minxymissk@sparkle@kerristephens@blackandwhite3 Thank you all for contributing. I'm a complete newbie and know nothing at all about photography so it's nice to see other people have taken some great photos with plain old P&S. I sometimes feel a little overwhelmed by all the jargon used :oS
@dawnie Beautiful Dawna and I absolutely love your baby chicks :o) You've come on in leaps and bounds since the start of this project. Keep up the good work xx
This was a tough choice since my whole project is with my P&S...anyone who likes what they see here feel free to check out the rest...but here are some of my faves so far:

@cheetah1713 Love your use of colour Vicky. I think that's the point of my starting this discussion. Some of us have no choice but to use a P&S. I'd love to upgrade but just haven't the money to spend on another camera so we make the most of what we have and sometimes have to be a little more creative but still get some incredible photos :o)xx
due to the inconvenience of being poor ( & photography being a relatively expensive hobby) my photos are all done with my trusty canon powershot.

I have only got my first dslr about two months ago and I still use on from time to time.
I have seen here fantastic picture taken with very simple equipment.
Here are some of what I succeeded to take with a p&s
My washing machine
Lantana
@psychographer@bethanyjay Thanks, Lisa. I've learned a lot since I started the project. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Bethany Gardner also uses a Sony Cybershot. Bethany has some awesome photos and is an inspiration for all of us point and shooters!
@dawnie Wow thanks so much for saying such nice things!!! =) You have amazing photos as well!!
I love my CyberShot. I have definitely been thinking about what I'm missing out on by not having a better camera... but all in all - my Sony has been working out pretty well!!
@psychographer Lisa thank you so much :o) huge hug to you xx
There are so many wonderful photos on this discussion. Its really amazing what everyone has achieved by using a p&s.
Well done :o)

Every photo in that gallery is taken with a P&S :)
Thanks! You have some fabulous pictures yourself as well :D x
this was with my P&S - I reckon over 2/3 of my album is with P&S - wouldn't swap it for anything!!

I shot this with a Fujifilm Finepix F30.
It now has an ugly dust spot on the sesnor, and I have been putting off opening it up to clean it. So I haven't shot for a while.
