pls help me to pray for my sister's and my brother-in-law's safety in Japan.. this news woke me up this day.. and i am really worried, there's a tsunami alert here as well in the Philippines, and it will be in my mom's place by 7-8pm this evening... i hope this won't happen... =(
@maceugenio Prayers out to you and your family. We're still waiting to hear from some of our family in Japan as well. It's going to be a long night. Stay safe!!
I have just been watching the footage on TV. I hope you do not get a tsunami and I hope that your sister and her family are safe.
The earth seems to be very angry at the moment
thanks for the prayers guys... my mom's place here in the Philippines, is near the beach, i mean like less than a hundred steps at the back of the house... told her to go away near the beach as soon as now... can't be worried twice, im still trying to contact my sister and my borther in law in Japan.. no answers yet.. but my other sibling told me my sister is fine (THANK GOD!) but my bro-in-law still can't be reached... T___T hope he's just fine
@maceugenio - totally with you. My brother lives in Hawaii and they have a warning in effect. As there is a 12 hours difference in time between him and I, I have no way of knowing whats going on.
Been watching the unbelievable destruction from the tsunami on TV. Hope everyone affected can get back on their feet and stay safe. Would be terrorizing having that many large shakes. Keep us updated!
thanks guys.. talked to my sister, she's freezin cold outside... she still can't go inside their house coz there are still aftershocks. and she's scared... T__T
Watching live tv on BBC thinking of you all out there who are affected. Prayres coming your way.... @lynne3804 I said the very same thing the other day...the world seems to be in a turmoil of its own.
@maceugenio thinking of everyone in Japan and anywhere else where the effects of this earthquake/tsunami are. :( devastating. I have not taken my eyes off the news this monring, it really is terrible.
Please keep us posted! This is horrible what is happening! I have been in contact with friends there and it is very scary. Prayers to all in Japan and hopefully no major loss will take place in other places too!
I saw some live footage on BBC and although I have no friends or family in that region it really upset me. I rarely pray but I am praying for the safety of your family and everyone in Japan and the Pacific.
I am watching the news now and praying for all of you. No words can express my concerns about the horrors that are unfolding, I really hope your family are safe.
All I have been thinking of since I woke up this morning. So difficult to sit and just be waiting for more to happen. So many people being affected by this latest tragedy....waiting for more updates.....
my sister sent me another message.. she's safe now, she's just preparing her stuff if ever the Japanese government do a mandatory evacuation at least she's all prepared... but at least i can breathe easily now that my sister, my mom my brother in law and lots of relatives are in safe hands...
THANK YOU GUYS FOR THE PRAYERS! God is really good!!
@judifff where are they in japan? maybe they're in the same place as my sister in yokohama.. if they are, they are safe.. but yeah Japan is devastated right now, my sister is still shaking because the aftershocks seem to not stop.. T___T hope ur family is safe too.... you are in my prayers and as well as the people affected nad all man-kind...
@maceugenio
I'm so glad your sister and family, you must feel so relieved.
They will remain in my prayers for their ongoing safety. (In fact my photo for today is dedicated to you, your family and everyone else affecting by these events)
Praying for everyone who is affected by these horrible events. I can't imagine how scary it is for everyone involved...very sad! I am glad your family is safe at the moment and hope that things stay that way for them.
Seeing the devistation on the news this morning made me feel so helpless. Glad to hear your sister is okay. @judiff My thoughts are with your cousin, his wife and unborn child. Please keep us posted and let us know when you hear from him. I know, from living in Los Angeles, that communication is next to impossible following an earthquake. My family was on the East Coast and it took me 18 hours to be able to notifiy them, after a quake, that I was okay. Hope that's the case with your family members.
I live 600 miles south of Tokyo on the Eastern Seaboard. Was quite the exciting day but all is well and quiet here. My prayers and love go out to those affected and hope that the rest of the day stays calmer.
Woke up to the devastating news-I thought immediately about our 365 family and wondered how many friends we have over there. Glad that your family is safe and I'm sorry for the stress and heartache you've endured while wating....
Thankful we are only dealing with snow here in the middle of Canada...lots of snuggles with the kids (they are home due to a snow day) today and reassurances that we are safe from this here. Thoughts are with everyone affected.
@maceugenio Just saw that it has hit Hawaii and did not reach the hotels etc...just barely went over the breakwalls. It is not expected to be too bad on the west coast of Canada. Mostly warnings of unusually strong tides and a bit larger waves than usual.
wow wow..i am so happy to hear that your sister is safe...this is all so scary and devastating. i will be thinking and praying for you and yours as well as everyone who is affected by this...
New Zealand is on Tsunami alert but haven't had a chance to check this morning. I live on the coast and I know a warning has been issued to stay away from the beaches.
Glad to say my Cousin and his family are all safe and well.
The guest house they run has suffered severe damage and they are reporting still of tremors. I hope they remain safe, and Mother nature begins to play nice!!!!!!!!
thanks guys for the prayers... my sister my bro in law and my mom are all safe now.... i was really worried last night about what happened... thank God...
this is a wake up call to each and everyone of us... Mother Nature is really angry... =(
Yes, prayers are needed, the entire situation will be talked about in the church that I go to tomorrow. I know I will more than likely get argument on this. Many people will ask why God would allow this to happen. It actually goes back to original sin of Adam. Things were not meant to be this way at the origin, but man took things into his own hands when he wanted to be equal to God. So God said ok let man take care of himself and God stood aside. And from that point on everything changed. But eventually, God did give us His only Son so that man could find his way back to Him. There will continue to be devastation and things we don't understand until Jesus returns to take the believers to be with Him.
For those that know that the Bible the true Word Of God, just read Revelations, to see how bad things can get
Thank god everything turned out fine for yr family. Still don't know how far the repercussion of the earthquake and tsunami will reach. Thoughts and prayers with the victims.
I feel awful for all of them and count myself lucky to not be there when I should have been. My husband and I were suppose to move there and already be there and instead we got transfered to AZ all of a sudden. Was so disappointed but I can only be grateful for the change of events now. Positive thoughts for all those effected. We have friends there and have yet to hear from them, can only hope for the best.
@maceugenio glad your family is safe. my husband has family and friends in japan also, but they are far enough south that they were not affected.
i heard that oahu wasn't too badly hit, but other hawaiian islands have been. a friend of mine sent photos from the big island showing damage on hotel property.
did the tsunami hit the PI?
talked to my sister via skype... yey!!! she's fine... but the trauma and the fear, is till can see that in her eyes... and i just wanna hug her.... T___T but im glad i was able to talk to her....

@maceugenio So happy that your family is safe. Such a terrible event that just keeps on going. Many hugs to everyone, good thoughts and prayers to all effected by this!
We called last saturday to my aunt in Japan as well to my grandma in Philippines. She and her family was okay. We hope this catastrophe ends so soon. I pray for your family too and glad they're all safe.
@maceugenio So glad you are all safe and still thinking of all the 1000s who have lost their lives and the 100,000s who are directly affected. I read today that the authorities were warned three years against having the nuclear power stations in a high earth quake risk zone. I'm amazed anyone needed warning in an area where three tectonic plates meet. Glad the Philippines was spared. Take care.
The earth seems to be very angry at the moment
