Fancy a laugh?

I thought I would try one of those experiments where you take several photos and merge into one (can't think of the proper name or if it has one, brain frazzled). First I had to coax and unwilling son to help and model while the youngest slept. Can you tell he didn't want to help? Then I edited in GIMP while the youngest still napped. In the end rushed editing though as the youngest decided to wake up. I know where I went wrong with the photos and I know that I need to spend more time in editing. Still I thought I'd share and let you all have a laugh with me, it is Friday after all.

And aplogises if I double post this, I did do another thread but I think rather than click start topic I clicked cancel. Told you, frazzled brain.

Love it! Would like to try something like that, too! Is it possible in Photoshop? Or even Picasa?

@mikhasus That's really cool. I'm always amazed by what the iPhones can do.

@1invisiblegrl Thank you. I'd taken him away from playing computer games, I'm such a bad Mummy. lol. I do have to say I am quite lucky in that he doesn't mind too much all the photos I take of him and if you look through my photos you'll see that he is quite willing at times, he just insists on such serious faces.

@bellaposacom Love this!!! Such cute kids!

@jannaellen I did this in GIMP so I assume you can definetely do it in photoshop. I just added an extra layer at a time and erased what I did want which brought the orginal photo through, if that makes sense. All in all this took just a few minutes.

@shadesofgrey Thank you. I remember Ross posting that before.

@feeandstevie As I mentioned above I just opened up the photos, picked one to be the original and then copied the whole image from the others one at a time adding them as a new layer and editing them with the erase tool to take away the stuff I didn't want. The main key is when you take the photos and making sure you keep the camera and settings in the same place. Or you could follow the link that Shades posted.

@crystal423 Thank you. It's far from perfect but for a quick job from someone who is useless at this sort of editing it isn't too bad I suppose. lol.

@winnie016 Oh no!!!! did you post it here, would love to see it.

@loopy12 Thank you. I'm lucky in that both my boys have beautifully big blue eyes, it's a family trait on my side of the family.
