I appear to have found Platform 9 3/4, here on my 365 project. According to my stats I have loaded 363 pictures ... and have 3 days to go to complete my 365 project. It's not a leap year, and I have no photos in another album, or before my start date of 1 April 2010.
So I will end my 365 project with 366 pictures. Have I found Platform 9 3/4? I just wish I knew which picture it is - then we'd all know what it really looks like:) Or is there a more prosaic explanation?
@eleanor Same has happened to me, and I think it's because there was one day I uploaded a picture, decided I didn't like it, so deleted it and replaced it with another one. My photo count went up by 2 that day so maybe the same thing happened to you...?
@wrighty Ah ha! I did that the other day - I changed the year by mistake. So there is a counter somewhere in a database that needs to know when pics are deleted too.

I had NOT noticed, until I saw this discussion! My head is not in the game, obviously. I too, started the project on 4/1/2010.... and will continue, in my own bits and pieces way.
@eleanor I'm not sure of this phenomenon, but perhaps the avatar counts in the stats? I know someone who just started yesterday and posted one (and only one) shot. Her stats said two photos, but the count under her image said one. That's the only thing I can figure.
