Those of you who follow my Mom, @jwresa on this site know that last Tuesday she went in for surgery. Unfortunately the doctors found that she has a rare type of appendix cancer. She has been in the hospital since the surgery and is feeling better every day. Today she will be able to go home and then they will figure out a treatment plan for her. I just wanted to let you all know what was going on and ask you to please keep her in your thoughts! My mom is amazing and strong and I know she will fight through this :) Thank you all for being so supportive of her so far, I know she very much appreciates it!
I'm glad to hear from you, I was thinking of her and wondering how the recovery went. I'm glad she feels better and I hope to see her on this place soon. I'll keep her and the doctors in my prayers. A big hug to Joni!

I hope that she is feeling better once she comes home and that she has the strength to fight her way back to health, you and your family are in my prayers...
I'm so sorry that you and your mom and family are going through this. I have never heard of appendix cancer. I will keep all of you in my thoughts. Tell her the 365 power is blowing her way.
i dont follow your Mom, but my prayers will be with her and the rest of the family...my Mom was diagnosed 2yrs ago with lymphoma and we are finally in remission now. It's a hard battle but she will fight it and overcome all obstacles.

@aprilrss Thank you for the update April. Give her a big (gentle) hug from me, and I'm sending hugs your way too. Illness is tough, and I am sending positive thoughts that the right treatment is found right away, and she will live a long and happy life with many many more memories to capture.
