Hi! I'm new to Project 365. I started taking pictures on April 1, and joined here last week.
My husband bought me a digital camera for our anniversary in March (a little Canon Powershot), and I decided to jump on the Project 365 bandwagon. So far, I've enjoyed taking pictures, and I was really glad to find this site. The community seems kind of overwhelming, though, because of my level of expertise (or lack thereof, lol).
Anyway, I hope to see some of you around, make some friends, and receive constructive feedback on my photos so I can improve.
welcome Jenni! i joined at the start of april also! you have a good eye for photography and some quite humerous photos also! should make for a fantastic flashback after 365 is finished!

I know what you mean by the community seeming overwhelming at first, but you'll find that if you follow people and comment on photos, you'll soon get sucked in. I spend more time on here than I do on facebook now. :-)
Hi im new to it as well but i think im going to like it here, my first few photos arent great cos ive just started and my camera isn't brilliant, and lets face it, theres not much to photograph when u go to college apart from some crummy teenagers. Any ideas on something i can make interesting out of a blank canvas ?
welcome! i was overwhelmed too, when i first began but ppl are so nice here. just seeing all the great pics make me want to share mine as well! weekly themes are always helpful when your down on ideas! have fun!
Welcome. What I like about this project is that you can get some really good hints and ideas from others on taking photos.
It doesn't matter if you take fantastic shots or snapshots, or whether you use an SLR camera or a phone - it's all in the mix of our daily lives.
It's also very friendly and you get to 'meet' other people. I particularly like what's going on in the rest of the world (being a bit isolated in the southern hemisphere). e.g. apparently it's earth day today but I didn't know anything about this previously.
hi Jenny welcome to this site. I started not so long ago and joined a nice group of 365ers. this is so much fun and I find it more interesting than facebook. we get so involed in this project that I don't have much time for anything else but I enjoy it emensly. so keep sending pictures. I will have a look at them now and welcome to look at mine and my 2 extra albums. these are mostly pictures I took around where I live. one I called "Nature at it's best and the other is named "sunrise/sunset".

Welcome!!!! The best advice I can give you, is to not look at other photos in this "community" and feel overwhelmed.... Use them as inspiration and ideas for your own shots. :) You'll do great. I, too, just started on April 1st... I really like it though. WELCOME, again!!!
Welcome Jenn! I have a Canon Powershot too, which I love, and now thanks to this project I carry with me EVERYWHERE! You will find everyone here is so friendly and helpful. It's a great community.

I almost forgot to take a picture today until I saw my daughter's pop up on facebook LOL.
