So, I'm in the middle of thanking people and replying to various messages that people have posted on my photos and I was wondering, how many of you go back to look for replies? Do you think it makes more sense to just write something in their comments and thank them there? I am thankful for the feedback and don't want people to think I'm not.
Esther, sometimes with some of the folks I reply right on their page. It likely confuses others. I go back to things I reply on once in awhile, as I like to read the string of comments. Just don't think there is a right or wrong way.
Until notifications of replies to things you've commented on arrive, which hopefully they will at some point ;) there's not really any right way, just down to what works for you
I don't tend to go back and see if the person has replied as I often forget the names of people I have replied to, but if someone comments one of my pictures I will endeavor to comment one of theirs back.

I think some sort of pm system would be great. I hate for people to think I don't appreciate their comments, especially if they've said something special. Personal messaging would just be easier. And I don't want this to turn into another facebook-type application. I would just like it to be a tad more communication-friendly.

I have created an e-mail folder just for 365.... with amazing originality I called it "365" and everything goes there....then I can read all the comments in a bunch and I don't miss those that are posted on earlier photographs. No right or wrong way to say Thanks....
Good points, everyone! I would love an ace membership, but have no credit card. :( I totally agree it's an issue not being able to receive notifications, it would help communication a lot if we did have them. Also, thanks so much for all the comments, this community is so amazing, you light up my life. :) So let me use this thread to say thank you!
