This is MY year in pics!

I have just posted this as a comment on another topic but thought i'd just copy it here because i think sometimes we worry a bit too much!
I know i'm nowhere near as clever and artistic as most photographers on here. I only have 2 followers, maybe because i'm mostly a point n press photographer and it's not often that i recieve comments! But this is MY year in pictures (altho there are missing days). I absolutely LOVE looking at everyones photos, they're all fantastic in their own ways and think that maybe, just maybe one day i'll have one or two pics that look close to "professional". The hints & tip, discussions and topics etc are brilliant. But I enjoy what I do n if someone looks at it then lovely if not...oh well !

I'm completely with you...my goal has NOTHING to do with photography and everything to do with my life; a journal of sorts. I'm so happy to hear you post this so I don't feel like I'm the only one that's not artistic and working on photography!

@jhurley You certainly aren't. :-) I am enjoying just looking for something that brightens my day and taking a quick photo of it. If I get a comment on my photos, all the better, but I am definitely not here to awe people.

It isn't about being clever, I have 120 followers and it ain't because I'm clever or because I'm good it's because I follow over 200, and comment daily, and have no blank spaces. It's more about being an active member than anything to do with talent and professionalism.

That's about how I feel too. I don't have many fantastic shots [to others], but I love all of mine. It's nice to see other parents who are proud of their children. Oh, and btw, you have way more followers than me :)
