Is there a way to change your photo without losing the comments?

April 27th, 2011
Morning all - uploaded a collage this morning, which I then reconsidered and redesigned. I basically went from a 4 photo to a 3 photo collage - so basically the same, but a little better. I wanted to change my photo, but retain the comments. Is this possible in the edit function?

Nope, sorry.

since you're ace, you can edit with picnik after posting, but i do not think that will extend to collages. =/

I know of no way that can be done.

I believe you can click on edit and then choose to delete the first one. Then upload the new one.

@annecanon Yes.. but it deletes all the comments.

You can save the comments in a word doc and then re load them..... I have done this,, it just looks like you have made all the comments though.. so you should add their names etc..

you're an ace member so you can replace the photo via picnik, edit the photo in picnik, find the replace button, upload your new photo and save it

@Scrivna Hi Ross - thanks for your reply - I'm in edit via picnik, but can't see a replace button. Any advice?

@murnane I just upgraded to Ace to try this and I used picnik to tweak the contrast on this shot...(the replace button comes up after you click the 'Save to 365 project' button)

@murnane when in Picnik, go Library -> Get From Computer ->Upload, then hit save back to 365 project

@Scrivna yay - thank you so much. I managed to switch my photos. A little late I guess, as it has been up now all day, but soooo grateful. Thanks for the help. I will be able to share this little bit of info with my 365 friends.
