Difficult to compare as they are so different this is my first shot and I remember being so pleased with this as it was the very first time I had taken my "proper" camera out!
This is todays shot ~ totally different so difficult to compare. I love the process and have discovered more what I don't like than what I do. I still find it as inspiring and motivating today as I did New Years Eve when I started!
What is interesting was that my first and last photos were actually taken at parties I was having. I can see now how I might have reworked the first photo since it was just a snap shot to get his outfit. I am really proud of the last photo because I was sitting across the room, saw the moment, went to another room and took the photo to capture the moment of a couple completely comfortable with each other.
The first is on New Years Day with my iphone at the yearly Mummers Parade a block from my house.
The last one is a casual evening grilling party and of a couple unwinding after law exams with my Olympus.
I've been taking photos for years, so not sure if I've 'improved' as such, but I am certainly looking at everything as a possible photo - desperation, maybe?!
