Yesterday, Alex ( http://365project.org/mednez/365) misplaced his entire collection of camera equipment (or had it stolen... we're not completely sure). It was a backpack with his a Canon 550D plus a bunch of lenses and accessories. We've looked high and low but it's nowhere to be found. As you can imagine he's pretty devastated and anxious about it. :(

I'd be sick if somebody stole my camera. My house has been broken in to a couple of times. TV, Monitors, Games systems stereos.. I don't care about any of that.. but my camera that's another story.
Oh man, I hope he finds it. Wasn't there someone that posted a link to search the web for pictures taken with your camera? Might be atleast one avenue to try.

Thank you so much for your support. The camera and associated gear (three lenses, tripod, my bag, reversing ring, 3 safety filters, ND4 filter, misc filters, remote cable, usb cable, charger, camera strap (not the default one; one that lets your camera hang at your hip), spare battery) are all gone.
I've reported it to the police so hopefully some of it will turn up in a pawn shop or something. Also keeping an eye on ebay.
A week on, and @pocketmouse and my parents have convinced me I should get another camera. I'm a bit disappointed that in terms of my gear, I've regressed four years, and it'll take years to get it all back.
I'm hoping to go out in the week and get a new body and single lens. For the meantime @pocketmouse is letting me use her camera when we're out taking photos.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for the outpouring of support. I love 365 and you guys are my inspiration for taking more photos.
Hi ~ Life has been a bit hectic crazy here so I am just getting caught up. I am so very sorry to hear that this happened. Frustrating, to say the least. It makes one lose faith in the human race but the 365 community will hopefully allow you to regain trust in your fellow man. Take care.
@mednez NO WAY!? i was told by my insurance company even our pram (which lives in the car) is covered under contents insurance?! Oh thats SH!T.

do you have contents insurance? we had a DSLR stoled a few years back and claimed it on our contents insurance no dramas (as a portable)... :(
