Okay, I'll stop with the hummingbird posts for now. I just love them so much! I thought this video was really fascinating and had some great shots.
I'll admit, the tree-hugger part of my personality rankled a bit during the "lab scenes" because I don't like seeing hummingbirds in captivity. I understand why they are studying them, but a small part of me still doesn't like it, lol.

I personally thought it was a fast shutter speed since that's usually how you freeze things (but then again moving objects are my weakness!), so what do I know? Its actually a short flash. Yeah, all the pros out there are probably laughing at me and saying DUH! But oh well. I admit I'm an amateur, I don't hide it.
So anyway, if you are interested in photographing a hummingbird there are some tips. I haven't tried them, but I hope to soon!
