Oh my goodness. I am almost speechless. Thank you so much to everybody for viewing, faving, and commenting on my photos. I feel truly honored to have two shots make it to the top 20 in one week. I'm dumbfounded to have one make it to number 2. Just...wow. Surprisingly, the shot that made it to number 14 just didn't seem that great to me. I was surprised it even made it to the popular page, let alone top 20.
I truly appreciate all the kind words everybody always has to offer. Even the critiques on this site are well meaning, not just mean or insulting. I'm so happy to be a part of a community that makes me feel comfortable accepting critique and that has been nothing but positive from the start of my project. Thank you for keeping me going and inspiring me to try things I never would have before [like these two shots]. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
@slmatntwi@elke Thank you both ladies! Elke, I'm glad I could inspire you. These challenges have really helped me. I was in SUCH a slump, so I decided to do the self portrait challenge. It helped immensely.

you deserve all the praise you are getting. that you show how you do it is simply amazing to me; in this day and age, so many are jealous of their talent, and you are so willing to teach. i am grateful and look forward to your post each day. congrats.
@catsmeowb Aw, thanks! I don't mind sharing some things [others I do keep to myself, haha] because I think it's interesting to see what other people do with the same skills.
