@annielf You coming over on the Hunter's Quay ferry?
Between McInroy's point and Gourock is (where I think to be)
the best vantage point for the 'parade of sail' on Tuesday
afternoon when they leave.
On Saturday I'll be taking the new ferry that replaced CalMac, not Western which goes to Hunter's Quay. So I'll be arriving at the former CalMac terminal where I can catch the train to Bogston. That's where it's recommended we get off on Saturday to Monday. Fort Matilda is recommended on Tuesday.
On Tuesday my hub will come along as well and we'll walk from the ferry to the park at Fort Matilda to watch the parade of ships. Possible to meet up there? It's going to be VERY crowded.
@ukdanae You'll want to find a park and ride somewhere as parking will be very limited. Or you could just take the train. There's good info on the website Paul listed which tells you which train station to get off.
@ukdanae Nae bother, hen! :-) It would be easy to get there by train from Edinburgh. Just catch the Gourock train at Glasgow Central and get off at Bogston and follow the crowds.
