Hi all,

One of last week's photos is a picture of my pain killer prescription bottle from a minor surgery I had. The photo shows my name, the prescription number and the pharmacy phone number. What should I be concerned about posting this? Should I blur out some of the info? I do post on my public blog as well.

Because non members can see photos, I would blur the last name, the perscription number out for sure. But I am a bit cautious about what i put out there for the world to see.

You can always xxxxx out the info in question...that's what I do with license tags and such in photos that I post. You never know how someone might use info they see. Hope you're feeling better following that surgery, Amanda!

I agree- blocking out personal info in this day and age is a sad but absolute must. Identity theft is very prevalent. Better to be safe than sorry.

I have posted my pill bottles before and yes I blurred out the personal info, just because we are a "friendly" group doesnt mean someone out there will not use that info... You are just inviting trouble by post such personal info...

Thank you all for your advice! I put x's over everything. I knew that's what I should do, but I just wanted get affirmation :)
