used your flash in your project?
I had never once used it until last week and the photo was not for technical points it was just to "mark" the day. Otherwise I have not used the flash at all oh how i love natural light :)
so how often do you use your flash for your project?
I rarely if ever use mine. I think it is too harsh 99% of the time. If and when I do use it, I use it as fill light to help with shadows but that is about all.
233 photos posted - 3 I've used flash. None of which I would consider quality work. I attempted another aquarium picture today and never got it to work properly, although I felt the results looked better than the one below, the focus was not right.
none for me! I did make some artificial light in a few of them (using photoshop) but it was more for making frames (it was before I figured out how to make frames).
@triciaanddazzle hey me too :) although i try to take my photos during the day when the sun's out (once i get home in the evening, i find there isn't that much to photograph!), so i don't end up using my flash much
I like to use available light... my flash is available :P
But I use my on-board flash fairly often, but I usually bounce/diffuse it with a piece of card or something, it's rare that I use it directly.
Lookign back on my project abou an average of once a month, usually for water shots/ Like Sarah (@coolgirlsar) I prefer the clarity it gives on the drops.
I'm saving up for a speedlite as the built in flash isn't great and I tend to use lamps (bedside/standing) torches or candles to light shots inside when there isn't enought natural light.
For one photo a while ago one of my friends was laughing at me as I was the first person he knew to use an energy saving bulb to light my photos.
Never used the flash in my project. If I need extra light, I use my husband's work light! It's just a 100 watt light bulb with a silver dish behind it. I love it because I can point it in any direction, and it stays perfectly!
I do not have a flash attachment which may take away from flash effects. i just do not like the harshness the flash provides. The majority of this project is without
depends where and what time of day or what im taking pic of ..i dont use it near windows or anywhere it will reflect..i dont really think about it..i us the wb to change the lighting as well..odd question really

I also never use it. It seems that it never has the effect I expect, so...

But for my water shots I use flash, it just captures the water better imo like in these two shots:
