Sigma 18-250 or Tamron 18-300mm

Is Sigma 18-250mm or Tamron 18-300mm good for my Nikon D5000, or both of this isn't?
The Nikon 18-300 is very expensive its 4000 dirhams here in Dubai or equivalent to 1,120 dollars. Sigma and Tamron are offering 1/2 and 3/4 lower price than its Nikon respectively.

Is this worth buying?

Thanks

I have not had a chance to check into these lenses for myself yet since the 1/2 to 3/4 is not in the budget right now. That being said, I opted to get the Tamron 60mm 1:1 F/2 macro lens instead of the Nikkor version and I am thrilled with it. I got it for less than 1/2 after a mail-in rebate, it has a 6 year warranty and it is sharp. I would not hesitate to get another Tamron.

@lyxw Have you had a bad experience with Tamron? Not defensive, just curious. I have had mine for several months now and am very happy with it. It rarely leaves my camera.

What about the 18-300mm of Tamron for Nikon D5000? Autumn, are you using Nikon D5000? I am interested with that 60mm macro lenses, How much was that? I don't have macro lens yet. Thanks

@autumnseden yes, autofocus is to lazy, the image stabilizer is to noisy and in some cases, at large focal distances, induces vibrations due the engine, who affects the image sharpness. Sometimes focused on f2, 8 or f3, 3 further forward or back to where I want

@blueburn11 Yes, I have the D5000. I got the lens through Idaho Camera via Amazon.com and it was about $420 when I got it. You can find it slightly lower or higher based on the sellers but Idaho has had consistent ratings and their service/deliver was perfect. After I got it I was able to send in a mail in rebate for $100 bringing my cost down to $320 rather than the list price of $669 for the Nikkor version. Could the Nikkor version be better? Sure! Am I willing to spend more than twice as much to find out right now? No. Maybe sometime down the line but right now the Tamron is working just fine for me. Stop by my project and any macros from May to current were shot with that lens.
