Before I knew ye, Nikon....

Anyone know if it is possible to mass-change (or single change if that is the only option) the capture date in EXIF/Metadata in Lightroom? I have a lot of photos from Sept-Dec 2010 that are labeled as 2011 because I was a NOOOOOB with my Nikon, and they're screwing up my Lightroom Catalog. :(

Let me know if you can help. If not....

sorry, I have no clue!

yep...you can put them on your hard drive and change the exif info by going into the properties tab. Granted this is on a PC (don't know about Mac) and I'm not sure if you can do it in bulk. After you do that, then import them into Lightroom from your hard drive (as opposed to direct from camera). Hope it works!

Found this with google:

"I don't think this is the case. I can select a set of files (all the ones that need to have the time adjusted) in the library module and then go to Metadata-> Edit Capture Time and use the Shift by Set number of hours (1 hour in this case). At least I can do this in LR2.3.

If I didn't have LR, then exiftool is a great way to go"

If you can't get LR to work, there are some EXIF editors that will probably do the job for you.

I think you can do it all right in Llightroom. Using the sync feature, you can batch update the settings for any number of images. The only thing is I know you can do this for the develop setting, I'm just not 100% you can do it with metadata.
