As I have just approached the 50%mark I've taken a look back at all of my photos, this first half has sped by so quickly. So with end of my second half ever so fast approaching I was wondering what happens next? Will I need to upgrade to pro if I want to start a new project? As obviously you need multiple albums. Is anyone on their second year out there? I'd love to hear from you xx
Just keep going. I'm onto my 2nd year (my first year I did on my own through a blog thinking a pic-a-day was a highly original idea - hahaha!!). That came to a close on Dec 31st and after 9 days in January of not taking a pic - I realised something was missing and started again on this site. Taking a pic-a-day makes me look at every moment of every day in detail and my life is richer for it. I can't imagine not continuing. Ever!
I'm into my second year. I started a new album to keep the pictures separate. I find though going through many older pictures are overwhelming for most people, myself included, so as I start a new month I delete all the pictures in the same month of the previous year.
Fabulous. I'm thinking of upgrading next year. The amount of time I spend on this site and the amount of fabulous feedback and friends I have made over the past 6 months is unreal, can't really complain in giving a little back to the site really now can I? I couldn't imagine not taking a picture everyday now either. What else would I do, no matter what I'm doing, how busy my day or how boring my day it's always on my mind! If I've nothing to do it gets me out of the house to find something to photograph. I do believe my life is richer for as well. I may start a new year with a new camera too. That would be pretty cool.
I too spend a lot of time on the site, but that is one of the reasons I might not do it after the year. I feel that if othters take the time to look at my photos then I ought to do the same, but if you are just away for a few days it takes HOURS to catch up. I don't like the fact that if you write on someones elses picture you don't get any notification of any replies.
