I came across this, and with all the unknown of google+ i thought it would be useful to share with other photographers.

In conclusion, shouldn't you just watermark your images, just like anywhere else on the internet?

that would probably help, but i have had my images hijacked, with watermark, and then cropped above watermark. so i gave up watermarking. the other option is a watermark that is so obnoxious that the image is destroyed because of the watermark.

I'm just glad the guy read the Terms Of Service properly, been fed up with seeing OMG GOOGLE GONNA STEAL YOUR PHOTO''''''S LOLX0RZ posted around the place.

Very nice article all told!

I'm taking to Google+ more and more. I never realised lying in bed talking to strangers in my vicinity of a Sunday morning could be so much fun until G+ let me do it.

i don't think google will steal photos... not until they change their name to skynet and become self aware....

Thanks for that link. Very detailed, and useful now as it will be over the next few days as I get the hang of G+.

Incidentally, does the author have any affiliation with Google?

I don't really like watermarks. And I'm guessing if it's so easy to get rid of them it's not really worth bothering with them...? (unless someone would like to design me one!!)
