Kids of 365

Anyone else's kid taken up the habit of taking pictures thanks to this project? I hear "We need to take our pictures, Mama." I'm highly contemplating opening her an account as a project while her dad is deployed.

Mine is always being photographed. I have to give her a break or she gets mad sometimes. You can see the difference in these two pics:

Not my daughter, but my niece AKA mini me :) She is fascinated by my cameras, and so is allowed to play with my P&S when I see her - she loves it, and she has her own album on my FB page :)

My little guy is only a year and a half so he is the subject of my shots. However, yesterday, I did let him take his first photo.

Dazzling loves taking pictures. She's always stealing my camera to get shots. Some of them are actually pretty good. I don't post them because I only have my project on here.

Here's one she took back in March:

And here's one of her in action:

@lolanae - my 6yr old son has joined 365 since I started (back in March) and he's really enjoying it too. In fact he really sees things I don't as a young photographer and I'm always amazed! I obviously don't ever let him on our computer without me right by his side, but I let him write (good practice in sentence writing and spelling!) his own thing on his and other people's pics. I think it's a great education for them to do this - with regards commitment and having something to show at the end etc - and I only wish we knew about this when my hubby was deployed last year! If she starts, I'm sure Elias my son will follow her, he loves to find other kids on here!! [He is @kelleybelly ]

@kimmiesue - Awesome =) And he is on the pop page right now too! I knew I recognized the name.!

@triciaanddazzle - Oh man, the one with her eyes!

@mariboo - hehe I get that too. "Okay, enough mom!' Or she just does her best to photo bomb what I'm trying to do.

I think I technically count as a kid. :-P I'm a highschooler that gets mistaken for a 12 year old.

My daughter @clumsylawyer isn't really a kid, she's 22, but she'll always be my kid :o) She doesn't post very regularly but she put up a few pics the other day having returned from a walking holiday in the Scottish highlands. I loved this shot.

My son has Asperger's and has a hard time expressing himself sometimes with words. But he has started his own project and 45 days in LOVES it. For me, I LOVE having something that we both enjoy as we are quite opposite personalities. I cannot even begin to explain how wonderful it is to share an interest with him.

One of his shots:

Plus, as a teacher and his mom, I am so EXCITED that I have found the best way for him to tell a story. He struggled with writing last year, only writing out streets and sport scores, but on 365 he is learning how to tell the story of the shot. I cannot wait to share this with his teacher.

Both of my kids are often my subjects too and sometimes get offended if they are not my photo:

@lolanae After I'd been on for a few months, my daughter started going out taking photos with me, so finally we decided that she would have her own account. She's really enjoying it! Like @kimmiesue said, I think it has been a good lesson in committment and I supervise when she's on, but let her decide whether she's going to comment or follow someone (some days, she wants to look at what others are doing and she spends lots of time looking and commenting, and then she'll go for a couple of weeks where she just wants to take her pictures and that's it). And she does enjoy seeing what other kids are doing, so if your daughter starts, let @kittyree know!

my daughter caitipie369 started after I had done, She was interested in what I was doing. Unfortunately school and swimming training make it difficult for her to do daily shots.
