this is what I started with for my abstract on Aug. 17 called Think Green.....

Mary, I left all my directions for you and either forgot to post or worse yet, they got lost


I will try to recall - Paint Shop (a bit pixelated original) so Noise reduction, upped contrast, color balance to warmer, added motion, gausain blur, softness. Then took to picasa, added shadow, two clicks of saturation to the right, and then cropped in the square to get the yellow in the upper left corner.

I just like how we can completely take one photo and go in opposite directions and end up with great options for you.

i think i would go with something similar to the above: crop into a chosen or completely random section, then play around with colours or effects
