Flower ID?

August 21st, 2011
I'm trying to ID these flowers, and I was hoping someone would be able to help me! I'm making a book for a family member and I'm trying to name all of them!

Flower #1

Flower #2

Flower #3

Any help or useful websites to try would be amazing. Thanks in advance!

1. Clematis
2. Maybe an Osteospermum, never seen one quite like it. Certainly a daisy-sunflower relative.
3. Possibly a Rudbeckia, aka Black-eyed Susan. Many cultivars, extremely variable.

Clematis, Cosmos I think, and yes some type of rudbekia/helianthemum. Your opinion on cosmos @robv?

I agree with 1 being clematis, 2 is a cosmos and not sure about 3.

@Cherrill I'll go with the Cosmos as well, I haven't grown any of the flashier cultivars I stick mostly to species/native/drought tolerant.
