I have seen a lot of people re-visit their first photograph. I plan on doing something that will push my boundaries as a photographer....something I am trying to do now, when I have the time. I will make time for it then.
Ooo. I don't know what I would do. Revisiting me first photo would be a bit hard. I could do something similar I suppose. Looking back at my first photo was rubbish, nice to see how I've improved. I do like that idea though @shadesofgrey
My first pic was of my son and looking back it was a bit rough. So yes it would be nice for me to revisit it and make it better with the skills I am learning. Seems only fitting to close it with a pic of Jack ;-) might chuck in the hubby too if he behaves. lol
I just had my last day earlier this week. It's a great feeling so you should plan to do something to celebrate. Unfortunately, the timing wasn't great as I had some errands to run after work that day and didn't have time to get the shot I wanted. I had a quote in mind for the day and came up with an idea to match. Wound up having to use an old photo of mine as the background and took some shots of myself to Photoshop into the scene. Like I said, it wasn't exactly as I envisioned it but I was happy enough with it.
As for what I did the next day? Nothing. Didn't even touch my camera. Gave myself a well-needed break. I will admit that I'm already feeling the itch again to continue the project so we'll see what I come up with this weekend.
I had planned to do something big, but I decided that it would feel too forced. I saw this shot and thought it was kind of symbolic, so I went with it.
I just completed mine the other day. I created a collage using one photo from each month. I also included some observations about my experience and posted it as a thread for discussion.
