Hi guys! I kinda got tired of doing this in like July because I felt I wasn't good enough, but eh I'm starting up again for who knows why.
I guess I'm just letting you guys know and such.
Well, first of all good enough doesn’t even matter. This project is whatever you want it to be. Second of all if you stick with it, your skills will improve. I felt the same way you did when I started, but everyone here is so encouraging and friendly. I’m glad you decided to give it another go.
My friends and family liked my work and I thought I was alright...I got on here and I don't even compare to some people on here. I don't care, I want to get better and its something I enjoy. Keep going, its for you.
@suomiiiii If you're not good enough, then I'm not good enough, the people who follow me aren't good enough, etc. etc. It's really not about good or good enough. Everybody feels that way at one time or another when they look at photos on this site. But as Lisa said, this project is really what you make it to be. I have people I follow that post amazing pictures, and others that post "slice of life" type shots that for them are significant. I'm glad you're giving it another go. Have fun with it and post because you want to. Don't compare yourself to others, but you will find that you will improve the longer you stick with it. Go for it and enjoy!!
Keep at it. I had a bit of a downer through August and the beginning of September, but (I think) I'm ready to start crawling out of that hole again now. From what I'm gatherig, most people on here have periods like this. By ploughing through, there's a better chance we'll become more consistent in the future! :)
@suomiiiii I relate to feeling over awed. Just keep going , enjoy the fun and the friendship. THat 's what keeps me going in 'dry' times ..like at the moment.
