I was wandering if anyone knows of a technique or filter that can simulate the effect you get from using infrared film in a reguler camera? I did it a long time ago with some great shots, but haven't seen it being used in a while. Has it gone the way of 8-track and betavision?
Photoshop CS3 has an Infrared setting in its B&W Image Adjustment settings. I haven't used it though so I can't be any more helpful than that I'm afraid.
My brother shoots infrared with his digital camera, with some excellent results. He uses an IR filter. Here's a link to his flickr photostream. If you want, you could leave a comment there to ask him for more info. Just tell him his sister sent you over from 365. http://www.flickr.com/photos/duloz/sets/72157622489648637/
