So have you ever had the day where you take a photo and think "By god George! THIS IS THE MOST AMAZING THING EVER!" and you post it and like one person comments? Well then this is the thread for you!
I know in this world we live in everyone is incredibly busy and not everyone can see every photo, even if they do follow you!
So if you have any shots you think are amazing and that people may have been to busy to look at post them here for a second look =)
I guess since this is my thread I'll start off. This is a photo I took way back in March and honestly, I love it and think it's such an adorable shot of my cousin.
And I hope no body thinks this is a place where I'm complaining about not getting views or something, it's a place for people to show what they think is their best work that has gone unnoticed! Just want to clear that up.. lol
Although I feel like all of my photos are appreciated, occasionally one will get overlooked, especially if I'm posting more than one photo in a day. This is that didn't get as many views as usual. Or maybe it's just not as good as I thought it was :-)
Loni, it may be as good or better than you think, but remember, you took the picture, you know the background and the FEEL when you took it. What you see in the picture is different than what I see, or anyone else, for that matter. And sometimes it is difficult to put in words the what, where and why of the photo.
What everyone has linked to are wonderful photos, that one instant in time that has a link to each and everyone of you.
I have always wondered how to get the the feel of the photo to show thru, I can get lucky on the ones that I just snap, but the ones I plan fall flat.
I checked out the photos on here and they are cool. :) I guess it is difficult - there are so many of us and one can only look at so many photos in a day. But I am following more and more people so I hope to appreciate many more photos in days and months to come. :)
Which I thought was pretty cool, given the technique I used was rather difficult and painful and took lots of effort. xD While I did get a fair few comments, it didn't really get the reception I was hoping it would. I think it's a really unique and different shot! Am I missing something about it that's bad?
I am amazed at how some of my shots turn out - the ones you spend hours trying to perfect are usually poor but the spur of the moment spontaneous ones can be right first time.
I took this one in Melbourne last week and hardly stopped walking to take it as it was raining but just so delighted with how it turned out! http://365project.org/suzyf/365/2010-05-25
My husband takes some great pictures but they don't get viewed very much, which I think is a shame. So I'm going to annoy him by offering one of his for this thread! :) http://365project.org/dalydr/365/2010-06-02
Definitely this one: http://365project.org/luxvivens/365/2010-05-22
It was a cheat (my camera was rebelling) and it is one of my favourite pictures that I have taken EVER and I think hardly anyone noticed it. :(
I'm glad this thread is going so well, I wasn't sure people would actually take to the idea! And since I'm here I'm going to post another of my favorites that didn't get to much attention
This one was a favorite when I originally took it. I loved the reflection in the water and the history of the boat. THEN, about 2 weeks after I posted it, the boat was pulled from the water! It's gone. Just gone. I miss it.
There are some really awesome photos in this thread. Great idea Chris. What's great about this is that it is hard to surf through all of the photos everyday to find the ones that really strike you. I think we should do a weekly thread where we post our favorites of the week.
Here is one I posted a week or so ago that got very few hits to my disappointment.
Lovely photos from everyone. I actually started following some people because of this thread. If not for it, I would have missed some beautiful photos..
regardless of the fact that this is a photo taken by my friend and also is a photo of me i think it is so beautiful because it has greash composition and the sun was so lovely and golden on the trees and i am partial to powerlines and red bikes go fast and boy-girls are weird.
Since I'm new to all of this, most of my pictures don't get a lot of love. I try to go around and browse a lot of pictures, comment and all that jazz. This is a good idea for new people to try to get seen more. :] These are my favorites so far.
My first real dip into messing with photoshop with more than just the contrast. XD
I won't say my shot is under-appreciated, but I would really like to share this shot with the people who haven't been following me for very long.
This has a lot of meaning for me and I'm sure it might resonate for others too, especially with my fellow Aussies.

This shot is one that I'm very proud of, but the thumbnail didn't turn out nice so it never got a lot of views...

I don't feel like this one got very much attention, but I really liked it.

My 2 cents.
There is this one of mine -

And this was my first photo I took for this project and I love it!
And Michelle, I really like that Lady Gaga photo, I love how it looks like she is glowing.

6/365: Ice And Freezy
I'd love people to get a look at it as it's only had 4 views so far.

Anyway, its called proof there is a god and I loved it. My only nice photo
And for some strange reason I kept reading the title as "Poof there is a God" lol

and a few others

this one because it made me laugh:
Mine would probably be these three:

and also another from our photoshoot:
lovely spindley lines and bright red bucket heads

I really like this but it didn't get much love :(
One of my personal favorites but hardly any response...
