Not an exciting post but what can you take with your camera? also i'm thinking of buying a new lense but need tips any suggestions?

I'm sometimes pretty surprised what my little point and shoot can do (a Lumix DMC TZ8):


But I'm also happy that I got my Eos 1000D. At the moment I still shoot with the lens that came with it but maybe I'll get some input what to buy next on here, too ;). This one is taken with my Eos:

I'm thrilled with the compactness of my G12 yet it has almost all the capabilities of a larger cameras + it has the fabulous variable-angle lcd screen which I love!!!

I am in the process of doing research on my next camera and I was told the Tamron sp af 60mm f/2 macro is a great lens for low light and bokeh.
