Weird Message

I was just commenting on the recent posts, and I received an "error" message twice in a row tellin gme to slow down, that I posted too many comments and now I cannot post for another 5 minutes? What is this about?

i am not sure what is going on either rick. i was commenting on photos as well, and then all of a sudden it quit posting. i dont get any error messages, it just does its "thinking" things, but wont ever post anything i type.

oh. i just tried again, and now it is working for me. I have no idea what that was all about. haha. I hope yours fix's itself too!!!

Well it worked but then after another a few comments it did it again. Perhaps it is just a technical problem that will fix itself. I'm sure the maintenance crew will be on it soon or probably already.

Oh okay, it's not just me..... I've been getting 'error' comments and then a 'woah, slow down, you're posting too quick' comments!

I just had the same thing happen when posting a comment on An-G's photos. I wonder if they techies are deliberately trying to make us slow down to prevent spam. Has anyone else gotten spam from Mary4ril? She leaves a link to a website or email in the message and the comment has nothing to do with the photo posted.

hi, yes, i'm currently experimenting with automated ways of detecting comment spam, to stop the automated bot that is going through the site.

Apologies if you are a real person and are seeing this message, i am improving it as we speak!

I had a weird message yesterday on a posting I did a few weeks ago from a Mary4ril. It came via my email as an ordinary posting notification about comment on one of my photos but she sounded weird.. wanting me to send her my email & love is the only thing that matters etc etc . , This message did not show up on my comments though! I have reported it as Spam. It might be nothing to do with 365 & just something that has bypassed my screening system.

@happypat I received the same message and assumed that Ross had deleted her account that is why I couldn't see the message on the site. Will see if I can somehow mark her email as spam through my yahoo account. Thanks
