as to the question I dont really have a favourite there is beauty to be found in all of them after all what would one be without the other 3, I do like the change over times thought summer into autumn and winter into spring
Lee's (@asrai ) right, each season has his own beauty and it's hard to pick one over the other. Summer brings (well normally) those beautiful blue skies and images of warmth, Autumn has the beautiful colour changes in nature, Winter has the sparseness and snow and Spring has the beauty of new life.
Hard to say- I appreciate them all for each season's unique beauty, but as for a favorite- Spring and Fall run neck and neck. Fall- the colors. Spring- the joy of flowers pushing up through the ground and buds bursting forth on the trees.
My favorite season is the sunny season. Could be any day any time a year.
Best is of course the sunny beach day which mostly occur during summer except for this year. It's October already and finally the beach weather has arrived...
But skating on a frozen Dutch canal in bright sunlight from one stand with pea soup (with some rum) to another with hot chocolate can be very 'cool' too :-)
I have two favorites. Fall, for the ever changing colors and being able to step on leaves (I still feel like a kid when it's Fall because I still find it fun) and Spring because life becomes anew; flowers blooming, birds singing, the nice crisp air and the smells that just make you relax.
Summer is just too hot for me (you can only take off so many layers before it starts becoming inappropriate). And winter is too cold. I am lucky to be living in Southern California where the temperatures never really drop below 52 degrees fahrenheit. And I used to work in the mountains and I now HATE snow because I had to hike 3 time a day in it and because I have a tendency to slip and fall.

The leaves are just started to change here in South West France

Seriously though--I love fall. Bring on the chill in the air, the forest of changing leaves and Halloween, of course. (:
