which lens?

Ok...let me pose my dilemma:

So I have a:
canon 85mm f/1.8
canon 50mm f/1.8
sigma 28-300f/3.5-6.3 Macro (SUCKS for Macro)

I have been looking at:
canon 100mm f/2.8
canon 60mm 2.8 Macro Lens

I just can't decide which one to get. At this point I have been mailny using my 85 with either tubes or filters because my "macro" lens just sucks. I am not very interested in doing portraits, my focus is primarily macro. So in the end my problem really is this:

Whichever lens I get I need give up my 85. I have been offered a straight across trade for a 60mm. If I do the 100mm I will have to first sell my 85 in order to purchase it. So I guess I am trying to ask... which would be the better way to go :) or should I just keep it as I have it and forego them both?

Sorry I tend to ramble.

Thanks ahead of time!

I've got the canon 100mm f/2.8, and I absolutely love it. You will never regret getting it. :-)

100mm anything shorter & you will want to sell again to get a 100mm longer than this you will defo need a tripod this can be handheld at a push. Hope thie helps it is based on the research I have done & I was looking at the 70mm ex sigma but then decided for the 105 ex sigam just saving the £ now :)

I had the 60mm and ended up trading it in for the 100mm. Couldn't be happier. That extra reach comes in handy.

@jessicapena I have the tamron 180 macro. I love the working distance it gives me. It was also less expensive than the canon without giving up image quality. The only caveat is the AF is less than perfect, but for macro work I use manual focus regardless.

I have the Canon 100mm f/2.8 L IS Macro lens and it is just amazing. I can't really shoot hand held without the IS since my hands tend to tremble a lot. I still want to get some extenders and close up filters but does not have the money right now... Most of my macro photos on my project page are hand held.

When I spoke to a professional photographer he advised me to save a bit longer for the L lens instead of buying the non-L one. I must say that it was the best advice anyone has ever given me. I don't think I will ever regret my lens purchase.

@hollandcrew Did you use extenders or close up filter for that photo?

These are great suggestions, thank you all. I had no idea what to look for, but @lilbudhha @hollandcrew, I appreciate the pictures to see what these lenses can do. Thanks again!
