I need some help ... I'm looking for a new camera and would like something compact to fit in my purse ... any suggestions ? I would also like it to be touch screen ... I've seen the new Kodak Slice ... but would like some input if anyone can help out I'd appreciate it !!
It's not touch screen, but the Fujifilm Finepix F200EXR is a stonking compact camera. Unlike most cameras in its class it has a load of manual controls along with the usual automatic settings, and is very good in low-light conditions. It also doesn't suffer from "purple fringing" on high contrast subjects like many other compacts.
It has to be the Canon S90. It has manual controls, an excellent f/2.0 lens and, importantly, it lets you shoot in RAW. Most of my pictures were taken with my compact Canon S90.
