is it updated every so often or is it auto?
my photo from yesterday has 5 comments (all by different people) but yet only 4 views? lol

Some people only comment from the thumbnail, which doesn't tally as a 'view'. If they click on the pic to see it fully, then it counts. I always make a point of clicking on the pic for this reason. Also, it's the only way to fully appreciate it, in my opinion.

and i agree seeing the photo full size is always the best way to view it!

Someone in a similar thread gave a tip a while back that's helped me a lot. Hold down the control/command key and click on the thumbnail or the person's name and the pic opens in a new tab or window. Then, just look at the pic and comment if you want, then close the tab or window. Your original window is still open and at the same place you left off.

Open link in new tab will help count the views without getting lost in the dashboard. =)

The other thing about clicking to view is that you can see the whole comment. To me the comment is important - I like to know the who, what, where, when and why.
